Year 1 were ACE Designers this week as we completed our life savers topic with building and testing our own boats. The moving propeller was a tricky element to put together but was very exciting when we set sail.

Thank you 1DT for bringing huge smiles all round with your fabulous rendition of ’Our God is a Great Big God’ at our learner of the week assembly today.

In equal measures of delight and disgust, Year 1 got busy making and tasting porridge this week! Lots of describing the porridge followed as we got stuck into our new Talk for Writing module ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’.
